The Parade Staging Area is located next to Yosemite High School on School Road, across the street from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Please check-in at the Registration Booth between the hours of 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM. The parade leaves the staging area located next to Yosemite Union High School at 10:00 AM sharp and proceeds down Road 427 (School Road), turning right onto Road 426 (Crane Valley Road) and ending at Golden Oak Drive. The registration desk will give you your assigned number for placement in the parade. Parade organizers will be assisting entries with their placement in the parade line. For everyone’s safety please stay within your assigned area.

Judging criteria is based on overall appearance, performance, presentation and relevance to historical theme or category chosen.

You must place your Assigned Number on the Right Side of your Entry, allowing the judges clear view of your number while passing by the judging stand located in front of the Sierra Star on Road 426 (Crane Valley Road). Judging will take place between the two white chalk lines drawn on the pavement in front of the judges’ stand on Road 426 (Crane Valley Road), approximately one mile from the start of the parade. For the enjoyment of our spectators, remember to perform throughout the parade route.

Two minutes is the allotted performance time in front of the judges’ stand. If you exceed your time limit you may lose points toward an award and delay the parade. Bands will be judged on marching performance.

Trophies and awards will be handed out at the Awards Ceremony at 2:00 PM at the Fresno Flats Historical Village and Park.

You may hand out candy but we ask that you do not throw candy. It encourages kids to run into the road.
Please no alcoholic beverages on parade route.
